Perris 5k Fun Run Raises Money for Education
More than 1,200 people turned out early Saturday to take part in a five-kilometer “fun run” in Perris to raise money for Rotary Club youth scholarships as well as for classroom equipment like microscopes.

Newly Open Teen Center is an Investment in the Future
The Teen Center features computers, the latest electronic game stations, game tables, a lounge area, furniture, flat-screen televisions to operate a Nintendo Wii system and a small recording studio for performing artists. Students from, 13 to 17-years old can finish their homework, read, visit their friends or spend time watching television and chatting.

Perris Senior/Teen Center Ready for Business
Final preparations are in place for the 10 a.m. Wednesday official opening of the teen center, which promises to be the new after-school hot spot for 13 to 17-year-olds.

I-215 Full Freeway Nightime Closures: March 8 & 9
There will be a full freeway closures on the I-215 on the nights of 3/11/12 and 3/12/12 for bridge pours on the Ramona Expressway O.C. bridge. The Ramona Expressway will be open. Traffic will be detoured from the off-ramp back on to the on-ramp.
Both days, closures start at 9 pm for Northbound (NB) and 11 pm for Southbound (SB) lanes. Freeway reopens at 4am NB and 5am SB.
Black History Month Parade Grand Marshal Announced
A Riverside County school administrator, president of the local chapter of the NAACP and a long-time children's advocate has been selected as the grand marshal for the City of Perris annual Black History Month Parade. Learn more...
I-215-74 Interchange Opens
Perris officials joined Riverside County and regional transportation representatives Wednesday to cut the ribbon on the new $29 million interchange at Interstate 215 and Highway 74 (Fourth Street), a milestone that will remake Perris Downtown, spur future economic development and improve traffic flow for commuters from Corona to Temecula.
