Development: Office of the Fire Marshall

The Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) has a unique position within the City as the Inspection, Investigation, and Regulatory function of the Fire Department. 

While active in emergency preparedness and response to fires and hazardous materials incidents, it also accomplishes the vital purpose of preventing emergencies through the education and enforcement of health and safety laws and regulations. The OFM also prevents emergencies by helping small businesses and residences to properly manage and eliminate hazardous materials and other hazards from homes and businesses.
