Public Works
The Public Works/Engineering Administration Division directs, administers, prioritizes and plans all activities of the department including the Field Services, Facilities Maintenance, Animal Control and Code Compliance divisions. The Division manages, prioritizes, coordinates design, and monitors the progress and implementation of Capital Improvement Program projects through the Contracted City Engineering Services Company or other engineering and architectural consultants. The Division reviews WQMPs related to private developments and manages both the NPDES and TMDL Programs related to storm water quality.

The Division manages the City's CDBG program, including both social services and capital projects; administers the RDA funded Summer Youth Work Program; receives and responds to work requests and concerns from the public, the Mayor, Members of the City Council, City Manager and other City departments on a variety of engineering or maintenance related projects or services within the public rights-of-ways, City owned properties and facilities.
The Division is dedicated to delivering these projects and/or services in a timely and cost efficient manner with leading edge customer care, partnerships with the community, and utilizing grant opportunities.
