Eat Fresh! Eat Local! Eat Here! |

The City of Perris will begin a weekly “Farmers’ Market” May 13 to bring people and business to the Downtown Area and to highlight ongoing renovations and improvements in the historic commercial district. The Thursday afternoon and evening farmer’s markets feature quality vendors, fresh produce, arts and crafts, a variety of food, and much more. “Eat fresh, eat local, eat here and have a family fun day out!” is the theme of the Farmers’ Market. The Farmers Markets will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on D Street between Second and Fourth streets. Perris officials have invested significantly in Downtown Area in recent months and have remade the area as a result. Several business owners installed new exterior facades as part of a City effort to restore D Street to the way it appeared in the early 1900s. In addition, the City has renovated the Bank Building at Fourth and D and is in the process of refurbishing the art-deco Perris Theatre at D and Third streets. |
