Perris Girl Scouts Receive Certificate of Recognition

Perris Mayor Daryl Busch presents a Certificate of Recognition to Priscila Concebida, Katelynn Juarez and Mecaila Loya for earning the Girl Scouts Silver Award (the second highest the organization bestows) for planting a pair of sycamore trees near Monument Park.

Three Girl Scouts from Troop 1114 came to the Feb. 9 Perris City Council meeting to thank municipal officials for helping them plant a pair of trees near Monument Park as a civic-improvement project. Perris Mayor Daryl Busch presented the Girl Scouts with a Certificate of Recognition for their efforts and the Troop members in turn presented the City Council and several City employees with boxes of Girl Scout cookies.

Perris Public Works employees Vince Ramirez, Jaime Salazar, Hector Ledesma and Isauro Castillo join members of Girl Scout Troop 1114 at the dais on Feb. 9 to receive recognition for assisting the trio in completing their civic-improvement project.
