The Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, March 8, handed out checks to the top non-profits that sold raffle tickets to support a fundraiser for the business support and development group.
Chamber president Matt Johnson also announced the two winners of a pair of cars that served as the top prizes for the Chamber’s fund-raising efforts.
The awards were announced during the Perris City Council meeting.
Edgar Bamentos of Menifee won one Chevy Spark and Ricardo Gomez of Temecula won the other.
Second-prize winner Jeremy Ruiz took home a 60-inch flat-screen television and third prize, a $1,000 gas card, went to Alejandro Leon of Perris.
Non-profit organizations which sold tickets to assist the chamber also were rewarded with checks from Johnson and Chief Executive Officer Cindy Espinoza.
