Superintendent Michael R. McCormick Honored at City Council Meeting

The City of Perris honored Val Verde Unified School District Superintendent Michael R. McCormick Feb. 27 with a Proclamation acknowledging his commitment to student success both in the classroom and on the jobsite. McCormick, who has worked at Val Verde for 20 years, was lauded for “creating a high-quality education and opportunity for each student,” for leading a district that graduates 96.3 percent of its seniors and for fostering relationships to create Career and Technical Education opportunities for graduates.
