Greenlight Savings Program

Note: At this time, program funding is not available for the following City’s affordable housing programs
Although these affordable housing programs are not available at this time, the City Housing Division has established an Interest List. Should you wish to be notified when program funds become available, please complete the City of Perris Housing Division Interest List Form and submit to the City Housing Division.

The Green Light Savings Program helps eligble homeowners reduce water and energy costs by providing financial assistance to upgrade the energy efficiency of existing homes.

The program provides up to $10,000 in grants for qualified homeowners to install energy and water saving devices including:

  • Weatherization
  • Energy Star Windows
  • Energy Saving Water Heater
  • Energy Star Front Door
  • Drought Tolerant Landscaping
  • Ceiling Fans
  • Installation of HVAC Units
  • Tankless Water Heaters
  • Smoke Detectors
  • Carbon Monoxide Detectors
  • Low Flow Showerhead
  • Low Flow Faucets
  • Low Flow Toilets
  • Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CLF)
  • Irrigation Controllers
  • Insinkerator
