Senior Home Repair Program
Note: At this time, program funding is not available for the following City’s affordable housing programs
Although these affordable housing programs are not available at this time, the City Housing Division has established an Interest List. Should you wish to be notified when program funds become available, please complete the City of Perris Housing Division Interest List Form and submit to the City Housing Division.
The City of Perris Redevelopment Agency currently offers a program to financially assist Senior Citizens and permanently disabled homeowners with minor home repairs. A one time, lifetime grant of up to $5,000 per household is available for those who qualify.
The program aims to assist seniors and permanently disabled residents with small but important health & safety repairs as well as Building Code Violations such as:
- Minor plumbing problems
- Minor electrical problems
- Handicap accessibility
- Handrails & grab bars
- Water heater repair or replacement
- Smoke detectors
- Repair/install dead bolts & entry locks
- Weatherization
- Other items as determined by the Redevelopment Agency Representatives
Any work requiring the relocation of the occupants is not eligible under this program.
