Employee of the 1st Quarter 2011: Corporal Porrazzo

Corporal Chris Porrazzo: Employee of the 1st Quarter 2011.

On March 2, 2011, Corporal Chris Porrazzo located a chop shop, used to dismantle stolen cars, and arrested three suspects.   Stolen vehicle task force units responded and assumed the investigation.  While conducting this investigation, Corporal Porrazzo located a related rolling stolen vehicle and arrested the suspect.   The stolen vehicle task force units also assumed the investigation regarding this vehicle.

On January 29, 2011, Corporal Porrazzo conducted a follow-up to a residential burglary. Corporal Porrazzo identified the suspect and wrote a search warrant.   Corporal Porrazzo located a stolen vehicle, gun and other property.

On March 22, 2011, Corporal Porrazzo successfully conducted a stalking investigation that spans several years. The investigation involves dozens of restraining order violations and approximately 100 calls for service.

Since October of 2010, Corporal Porrazzo has been conducting a fraud investigation that includes approximately 80 victims. Several of the suspects have been identified and arrested. The investigation is ongoing.

In addition to his police work, Corporal Porrazzo assists with shift scheduling, monitoring the daily logs, reviews reports, and assists with training.  Corporal Porrazzo’s work ethic, knowledge, professionalism and willingness to go beyond the what is expected justify his selection as the Perris Station Sworn Employee of the 1st Quarter 2011.

CSO Rose Howard: Non-Sworn Employee of the 1st Quarter, 2011

CSO Rose Howard’s supervisors have noted a strong work ethic and thoroughness in all of her varied assignments.

CSO Howard has always made herself available to assist deputies in any capacity. She is always helpful and never complains about extra work that comes her way, even seeking out ways to assist coworkers.  CSO Howard has shown a mastery of every task in the field, from taking reports and assisting on crimes scenes to transporting arrestees. CSO Howard has always come through in a timely manner and her final product is well written and rarely needs correction or addition.

CSO Howard was recently transferred to property and evidence. Her new supervisor has noted her strong focus in learning her new duties, which is a reflection of her strong work ethic. She already proven to be a strong and reliable asset in property and evidence. 

Based on her wonderful attitude towards work, her willingness to help in any area and her versatility in various assignments, CSO II Rose Howard has been chosen as the Perris Station Non-Sworn Employee of the 1st Quarter, 2011.
