Senior Center

The City of Perris has a dedicated Senior Center that supports a number of activities for senior citizens including daily lunch, recreation activities, trips, and much more.

Services for Seniors

• AARP Tax-Aide
  This service is offered twice a year during the follwoing months
  - Feburary to April is "State and Federal Income Tax time
  - June to August is " Renter's and Homeowner's assistance refund" time.
  These services are provided at no cost for Seniors 62 and older. You must make an appointment by calling (951) 657-7334.
• C.A.R.E. Program
  If you are a senior with concerns or questions about consumer fraud, elder abuse, or dependent adult abuse, the C.A.R.E program can help. A representative is at the Senior Center on the second Thursday of each month at 11 am. For more information, call (951) 486-6828.
• Inland County Legal Services
  Elder law and paralegal services are provided to seniors age 60+ with questions/concerns about wills, trusts, and filings. For more information, or to make an appointment call (951) 368-2555. Services are provided on the first Wednsday of each month; Victoria McDonald, Independent Paralegal, is available on the second Monday of each month from 9 am to 12 noon. (951) 657-7334.
• Senior Meals
  The Perris Senior Center serves meals Monday through Friday, 11 am to 12 noon. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance. Call (951) 247-1667 to make a reservation. The daily menus are prepared with seniors in mind. Meals cost $3 for seniors 60+, and $5.50 for those younger than 60. The meals are low in sodium, sugar, and calories.
• V.N.A. Blood Pressure Testing
  A nurse from the Visiting Nurses Association will be at the center on the fourth Tuesday of the month between the hours of 10 and 11am to administer free blood pressure tests. Dont' miss out on this free service!
