The Parks Maintenance Unit
This Unit plans and organizes the provisions of ongoing maintenance and operations of the City's parks including mowing, edging, irrigation, tree trimming, and trash/graffiti removal.
The Parks Maintenance Unit is committed to providing these services in a timely and cost efficient manner through effective budget management, leading edge customer care, partnerships with the community, and grant opportunities. The Unit is committed to enhancing the quality of life, protecting the public's overall interests, safety and welfare.

Bob Long Park

Bob Long Park, located at 5900 E. San Jacinto Avenue is primarily a sports park. Originally built in 1980, Bob Long Park hosts two Softball & Baseball fields, as well as picnic tables, a restroom, and a snack bar. This recently renovated park is perfect for league rentals and tournaments, and is a great place for the whole family to spend the day hitting the ball around.
