The Municipal Enforcement Services Department encompasses the following divisions:

• Animal Control

This division enforces and communicates laws and ordinances pertaining to the treatment and control of animals and to educate the public on animal care.

• Code Enforcement

This division conducts proactive and reactive inspections of property within the City to insure compliance with City standards.

• Homeless Services

This division connects individuals and families experiencing homelessness with our contracted Homeless Service Provider for direct support. We collaborate with local service providers and community partners to ensure individuals have access to the resources they need.

• Parking Enforcement

Our Parking Enforcement Staff enforces parking regulations throughout the City. Violations include: street sweeping enforcement, expired registration, commercial vehicle enforcement, blocking pedestrian right of way, vehicles parked in an unauthorized location, blocking a fire hydrant, unauthorized use of handicapped parking area, and other related violations.
